Couple dies in car accident

KOTA TINGGI: A young couple, who were travelling along the Senai-Desaru highway were killed when their car collided with another two cars around 10am today.
The accident at Kilometre 59.5 of the highway claimed the lives of Nurul Farehan Syawal, 28, and Muhamad Faizal Ramli, 30, while a three-year-old girl suffered injuries.
Sailaini Odar, operation head of the Penawar Fire and Rescue station said a team of firemen were sent to the scene.
All nine injured including the toddler were sent to Bandar Penawar dan Sungai Mas clinics respectively.
