UEM Edgenta shares up after unit wins RM6.75m contract

    PETALING JAYA: UEM Edgenta Bhd's share price rose 0.76% this morning, after its unit KFM Holdings Sdn Bhd (KFMH) bagged a RM6.75 million contract from Malaysia Airlines Bhd (MAB) to provide mechanical and electrical system (M&E) and civil and structure services works.
    At 10.30 am, its shares stood at RM2.67 with 21,000 shares changing hands. UEM Edgenta's market capitalisation stood at RM2.2 billion.
    UEM Edgenta said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the group's earnings and net assets per share for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2017 and 2018.
    Both MAB and KFHM are indirectly-owned subsidiaries of Khazanah Nasional Bhd.
