KUALA LUMPUR: Police have obtained a three-day remand order against a man who allegedly obstructed and threatened council enforcement personnel and bystanders after his car was clamped in Taman Segar Cheras, Cheras on Monday.
Cheras district police chief ACP Chong Kok Sin said that the man will be remanded till Sept 29 to facilitate investigation.
In the incident which happened on Tuesday afternoon, two Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) enforcement officers and two men from a private company appointed to clamp vehicles parked illegally were carrying out their duties.

Chong said police are investigating the case under Section 186 and 506 of the Penal Code for obstructing a public servant from discharging his duties and criminal intimidation against the suspect who is a 38-year-old e-hailing services driver.
