Video of woman hit by motorcycle anger netizens (Video)

GEORGE TOWN: A short video clip of a woman being knocked down by a motorcyclist in front of a primary school in Sungai Nibong has sparked uproar among netizens.
The 29-second video shows the woman crossing a pedestrian crossing under a flyover before being hit by the speeding motorcycle.
The footage was captured about 6.55pm on Monday, believed to have taken place after the noon school session.
Fortunately, the woman was conscious but walked off limping with slight body injuries while the motorcycle sped off after the incident.
Several cars were also seen stopping their vehicles when the traffic light turned red.
Many netizens vented their ire on the motorcyclist for his recklessness and for not stopping his bike when approaching the traffic light.
Netizen Muhd Annas described the incident as uncalled for, adding that the motorcyclist should have assisted the injured woman.
"It is very sad to see this. Pity the woman, " he said.
Another netizen Hana Yoo, said the motorcyclist should not have sped off, and urged other motorists to be more vigilant.
A similar incident which cost the life of a 58-year-old woman took place in Pulau Tikus in April this year, where the victim succumbed to her injuries after being hit by a motorcyclist who ran a red light.
