IPOH: The Perak Football Association (PAFA) does not want any parties to create provocation ahead of the Malaysia Cup first leg semi-final match between Perak and Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) next month.
Its honourary secretary, Ahmad Shahrul Azhar Sofian said it was important to avoid any untoward incidents involving the supporters of both teams.
He said even though security would be tightened with the cooperation of various parties including police, there was still a need for all parties to behave professionally.

Perak are scheduled to host JDT on Oct 14 at Perak Stadium.
Earlier, some Perak football fans were riled by a local daily newspaper article which was deemed as instigating provocation leading to the Perak-JDT match.
PAFA would hold discussions with Perak football supporters clubs soon to ensure a trouble free match.
Ahmad Shahrul said PAFA would give JDT supporters a warm welcome to further enliven the match.
On the number of tickets allocated to supporters of the Southern Tigers for the match, he said it had not been finalised and PAFA would be negotiating with the JDT management on the matter. — Bernama
