Lucky JomPAY user drives home a Mercedes-Benz

PETALING JAYA: A lucky winner drove home a Mercedes-Benz A 200 AMG Line yesterday as the second grand prize winner of the "Be A-Class Ahead: JomPAY and WIN" campaign.
The campaign received an overwhelming response from bank customers nationwide, with more than 3.3 million JomPAY transactions when the contest started in April this year.
The winner, Zaini Ismail, said she has been using JomPAY to pay all her bills. Her winning transaction was a JomPAY payment for a TNB bill done via Citibank.
"I still can't believe that I have won. Thank you JomPAY for making it possible for me to own this car that I would not have dreamed of buying." said the 71-year-old.
"I used JomPAY for all my utility bills because it is so convenient. I can pay online from the comfort of my home anytime. There's no need to wait in line."
The first grand prize winner was Chai Soon Peng, who drove away a Mercedes-Benz A 200 AMG Line on July 21, 2017.
In the first eight months of 2017, JomPAY's transaction volume grew 300% compared to the corresponding period in 2016.
Since its inception in 2015, JomPAY has grown to become Malaysia's largest online bill payment service with 1759 biller codes, encompassing all telcos, electric utilities, pay TV services, water utility providers in 11 states, 98 local councils, educational institutions, insurers, stockbrokers, e-commerce merchants, SMEs and other businesses.
