MACHANG: The Rural and Regional Development Ministry has allocated RM24 million for building and resurfacing of village roads, stretching 25km, in Kelantan this year.
Its deputy minister, Datuk Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub said work on 23km of the road was completed, with the remaining stretch to be ready before year end.
He told reporters this after opening a bridge project to provide a road link between Sekolah Kebangsaan Pangkal Nering and Kampung Kerawang here today.
The project, involving an allocation of nearly RM500,000, benefited about 500 residents in the area. — Bernama
