List of potential candidates for FT handed to Najib: KuNan

KUALA LUMPUR: The list of the Barisan Nasional's potential candidates for the 13 parliamentary seats in the federal territories for the 14th General Election has been handed over to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak, said Federal Territories BN chairman Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor (pix).
Tengku Adnan, who is also Federal Territories Minister and Umno secretary-general, said all were winnable candidates.
"We have forwarded five names for each constituency and among the criteria in the selection were that they must have served the people and were free of corruption," he told reporters after performing the groundbreaking ceremony for the 3rdnvenue Sales Gallery here today.
He said that he was confident that the voters would pick the candidates chosen because they could deliver the goods.
"Not like other parties which were formed out of jealousy, disappointment or did not achieve their goals...I am certain the voters will reject them," he said. — Bernama
