Body of man found burnt in house fire

KUCHING: The body of a man was found burnt when a house caught fire in Jalan Batu Perak, Kota Sentosa near here last night.
According to a spokesman of the Operations Centre of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Sarawak, a team of firemen found the burnt body of a man in the kitchen of the house that caught fire.
However, he said the identity of the victim had yet to be identified and the body had been handed over to the police.
In the fire at about 10.20pm, the whole house was razed and firemen took more than an hour to put out the fire. — Bernama
