Tawau Airport a good model: MAHB

TAWAU: Tawau Airport can be a good model for other airports in Sabah, according to Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB).
MAHB Human Resource senior manager Azra Azmi said the safety level as regards airport staff and operations was high and accidents were minimum.
"The airport prioritises the safety of its workers and operations in order to provide the best for its users," she told reporters after launching a safety, security and health campaign organised jointly by MAHB and MASwings here today.
Meanwhile, MASwings chief executive officer Datuk Capt Mohd Azlan Mahmood said the airline's approach in maintaining safety was to open a common communication channel where everyone could share information. — Bernama
