CYBERJAYA: Aided by support from the Sepang Municipal Council, Mobike, in partnership with Cyberview Sdn Bhd, has expanded its dockless bike-sharing service to Cyberjaya.
Mobike is an app based bike sharing service. Users need to install the app on their phone, register, and pay a deposit, to start using the service.
Mobike was first launched in Shanghai back in April last year, and is now available in 180 cities globally.
Sanjey Chandra, Country Manager of Mobike Malaysia, expressed his pleasure at introducing the service in Cyberjaya.
"Cyberjaya is recognised as a model for development of smart cities in Malaysia. We are pleased to be working with local businesses to advance the township's transformation into a global tech hub," he said.
For the month of October users can register at a one-time promotional deposit of RM9, which is fully-refundable. At the end of the promotional period, the price will be RM99.
Mobike is also also providing one free month of service in October.
