Motorcyclist dies in collision with express bus

ISKANDAR PUTRI: A Malaysian motorcyclist was killed in an accident on his way to work in Singapore on Friday morning.
The fatal accident took place at KM0.7 along the Second Link Highway here.
According to Iskandar Puteri police district chief Asst Comm Noor Hashim Mohamad, the victim, Yeoh Yoke Khing, 37, collided with an express bus in the 6am incident today.
Iskandar Puteri OCPD Asst Comm Noor Hashim Mohamad said initial investigations showed that Yeoh who was heading to Tuas, hit the rear tyre of the bus when it was making a U-turn.
He said Yeoh's body was sent to the Kulai hospital for post-mortem.
The victim worked as a container lorry driver in Singapore.
He said police will investigate the case under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless driving.
