KUANTAN: An outstanding student from Pekan Community College who lost his right hand in a road accident on Aug 20, has caught the attention of the Pahang Menteri Besar's Office.
Pahang Health, Human Resources and Special Functions Committee chairman Datuk Norol Azali Sulaiman said immediate assistance would be given to ease the financial burden on Muhammad Nur Hakim Zubbir's family, in regard to his treatment.
Muhammad Nur Hakim, 19, was involved in an accident near Gambang Toll Plaza on the East Coast Expressway while participating in a motorcycle convoy.

"When he recovers, we plan to continue the assistance so that he can further his studies in the automotive field as he is an outstanding student," Norol Azali told reporters after visiting the teenager at Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital here, today.
He also represented Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob in handing over a donation of RM5,000 to the student's mother, Julia Mat Rejab, 48, who works as a clerk in a private company. — Bernama
