Two men missing when kayak overturned at Tanjung Tuan beach

ALOR GAJAH: Two men are feared to have drowned when their kayak overturned at Tanjung Tuan beach, Port Dickson, today.
The Kuala Linggi, District Maritime 5 of the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA), in a statement today, said a search and rescue operation had been mounted for the two men, identified as Hew Yoong Loong, 61, and Leow Shak Kwan, 54, both from Shah Alam, Selangor.
The two victims were with a third person, Foo Siew Wan, 54, all from Shah Alam, Selangor, heading to Blue Lagoon when the incident happened at about 4pm.
However, Foo managed to arrive in her kayak at Blue Lagoon at about 7.30pm.
"A MMEA patrol boat has been mobilised for the search and rescue operation after a report was lodged at about 4pm by an angler," it said.
As at 8.30pm, the two victims have yet to be found. — Bernama
