Feng shui master helps himself to RM20.5m jackpot

PETALING JAYA: A feng shui master from Johor won the RM20.5 million Toto 4D Jackpot 1 on Sept 30 after obtaining his lucky numbers from a temple he frequented.

The 61-year-old winner, who collected his winnings two days later, said as a feng shui consultant, he could sense that he had the "money luck" lately and as a faithful follower of the temple, he would pray at the temple frequently.

"The temple has seen many of its followers winning lottery. I got my lucky numbers – 1651 and 7288 after my prayer session on Friday but I only bought the pair of numbers on Saturday for the first time and I won the RM20.5 million jackpot.

"I must thank the god for looking after me," he said.

The winner said the entire family had a sleepless night after finding out that he won the jackpot on Saturday.

"I thought many would have bought the same numbers and I would be sharing the jackpot with a few winners. I guess I was truly lucky to win RM20.5 million out of the RM21.5 million jackpot," he said, adding that he has been playing Sports Toto games for more than 15 years and his favourite games are Toto 4D and Toto 4D Jackpot.

He said other than donating to the temple using his newfound wealth, he would help his children to settle their house loans and start their own businesses.

The winner bought a System 5 ticket, which won him not only a whopping RM20,492,856.85 but also an additional RM1,008; another winner from Penang, who bought an i-System 40 ticket, also won RM1,050,915.75 from the same jackpot.
