AS Sri Bestari International School has adapted the Cambridge and UK National Curriculum, students are prepared to sit for the Cambridge Checkpoint Exams at Year 6 and Year 9, with the goal being the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) at Year 11.
The team at Sri Bestari consists of qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty who are technology savvy and able to guide the students in learning and development.
With the Ministry of Education's approval in conducting Mathematics and Science in English under the Dual Language Programme (DLP) in Sri Bestari Private School, there is now a stronger emphasis for English in all the Mathematics and Science subjects for both primary and secondary levels.
Through the integration of both private and international schools, Sri Bestari has obtained the Cambridge International Examination (CIE) endorsement as an exam centre; students of both private and international school are now able to register and sit for the Cambridge Checkpoint Exams and IGCSE.
With the focus on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) type questions in the national system i.e. UPSR, PT3 and SPM, students opting to attempt the Cambridge Checkpoint Exams in Year 6 and Year 9 and IGCSE will have much to gain as it is another approach to addressing the same concepts and principles.
Sri Bestari Private School has also set up a special needs centre two years ago called the Education and Learning Support Academy (ELSA) to support autism and dyslexia, and those with learning disabilities.
