M'sia Cup: Police detain seven Perak supporters

IPOH: Police detain seven men following a fracas after the first Malaysia Cup semi-finals match between Perak and Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) at Perak Stadium here last night.
Ipoh District police chief, ACP Sum Chang Keong (pix) said all detained were the Perak team supporters, aged from 18 to 29 years.
In the incident, two men including a policeman from the Ipoh District Police Headquarters were injured by exploding firecrackers.
The incident only involved the supporters of the host team because JDT fans had exited the stadium and boarded their buses under police escort.
At the match, Perak and JDT drew 1-1, Perak's goal was an own goal by JDT player Mohamad Hasbullah Abu Bakar and JDT's goal was by imported striker from Lebanon Mohamad Ghaddar. — Bernama
