No such E-Kad programme in Sabah: Immigration Dept

KOTA KINABALU: The Immigration Department here has confirmed that there is no such thing as an Enforcement Card (E-Kad) for illegal immigrants in Sabah.
Its Strategic Planning and Corporate Communication Division in a statement here today, stressed that it also had not appointed any agent or collaborated with any party to implement the purported E-Kad programme in the state.

In this regard, the public are urged to contact or report directly to the nearest Immigration office, should they be aware of any promotion or activity involving the dubious programme. — Bernama
