Ahmad Zaki's share price up 1.8% after securing RM288m contract

    PETALING JAYA: Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd (AZRB), which secured a contract worth RM288.5 million from Mass Rapid Transit Corp Sdn Bhd, saw its share price rise 1.80% this morning.
    At 11.07am today, its share price rose 1.80% or 2 sen to RM1.13 with a total of 290,700 shares traded. The share price rose 0.91% or 1 sen to close at RM1.11 yesterday with a total of 117,800 shares traded.
    AZRB announced yesterday that its wholly owned subsidiary Ahmad Zaki Sdn Bhd had received and accepted a Letter to Successful Nominated Sub-Contractor for package S206 of Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit Sungai Buloh - Serdang - Putrajaya (SSP) Line.
    The contract comprises the construction of three elevated stations, as well as other associated works at Serdang Raya (South), Seri Kembangan and Universiti Putra Malaysia.
