YFG awarded RM200 million construction job in Taiping

PETALING JAYA: YFG Bhd has bagged a RM200 million contract for the construction of apartments in Taiping, Perak.
The group said in a filing with the stock exchange that its wholly owned subsidiary YFG Engineering Sdn Bhd had on October 17 received a letter of award from Pierre Suite (M) Sdn Bhd (PSSB).
The project involves the building, infrastructure and landscaping works of the proposed development.
It is expected to commence on a date to be notified in writing by PSSB and to be completed within 36 months from the commencement date.   
"The project is expected to contribute positively to the revenue and earnings of the group for the financial year ending September 30, 2018 and beyond," said YFG.
At 3.20pm, the stock gained one sen to 4 sen, with some 7.76 million shares changing hands.
