SHAH ALAM: The Selangor Non-Governmental Organisation Coalition has lodged two police reports calling for an investigation into the 'Sayangi Malaysia, Hapuskan Kleptokrasi' rally here at Padang Timur, Petaling Jaya, near here on Saturday, claiming that it disrupts harmony and unity.
They lodged the latest report at the Shah Alam District Police Headquarters here today while the first was filed at the Petaling Jaya Police Headquarters yesterday.
The coalition's chairman Nor Nazilah Idris said they regretted that Pakatan Harapan leaders had used the rally to provoke and comment on certain communities.
"The people are tired of such dirty politics, if you want to become the opposition, then be a constructive opposition that focuses on ways to develop the country," she told reporters after filing the report.
The rally failed to meet its 100,000-people target. Selangor police chief Datuk Mazlan Mansor said it only managed to draw about 4,000 people. — Bernama
