Strong winds down 110 trees in Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Fire and Rescue Department recorded 110 cases of uprooted trees following torrential rain and strong winds in the state since Monday.
Its operations centre said in a statement tonight that there were 34 cases of falling trees on Monday, 30, yesterday and 46, today.
"Seventy-two trees fell on main roads, 23, on houses, 11, on electric poles and four, on vehicles," said the department.
It said there were no reports of injuries or casualties. — Bernama
