PM officiates Rural Entrepreneurs Carnival 2017

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Abdul Razak today officiated the Rural Entrepreneurs Carnival (KUD 2017), organised by the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKLW) at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) here.
The biennial carnival, which began on Oct 19 and ends tomorrow, is being participated by 721 stalls run by entrepreneurs, private companies and government agencies as well as 11 stalls of KKLW and its agencies.
Using the slogan "Rural Entrepreneurs Global Products' and hashtag #supportlocal, KUD 2017 offers for sale entrepreneurial products that are divided into six clusters, namely food and beverages, agricultural products, lifestyle, health and beauty, ICT and Creative ICT besides services and tourism.
The carnival also features major activities such as Trade and Business Matching Day with 65 potential companies, entrepreneurial seminar, 'siswapreneur' forum, cultural performances as well as product, handicraft and food demonstrations.
