Police nab four house break-in suspects

PARIT: Police have detained four suspects of a house break-in case in Kampung Pulau Pisang, Bota Kiri, here yesterday.
Central Perak Police chief Supt Mohd Zainal Abdullah said the suspects, aged between 32 and 60 were arrested at 12.45 am today following a report lodged by the house owner at 7.44am Wednesday.
The suspects were arrested at a house in Kampung Lambor Kiri while being high on drugs.
"The 60-year-old suspect admitted to breaking into the victim's house and stealing the victim's Perodua Viva car.
"Following the arrest, police retrieved the stolen car, a set of keys, two bags, a wire cutter, a mask, a chisel and hammer, as well as a master key, believed to be used to break into the house," he said when contacted here today, adding that the case is being investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code.
Mohd Zainal also said the suspects had previous criminal records for various offences and were tested positive for drugs. — Bernama
