'Cakna Rakyat' programme will be extended to all districts: Ahmad Razif

KUALA TERENGGANU: The 'Cakna Rakyat' programme, aimed at listening to people's problems and finding an appropriate solution will be extended to all districts in the state.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman said he would go down to every 'Cakna Rakyat' programme – based on meet the customer day – to be held in every district on Mondays, provided that he was in the state.
"Together with the representatives from departments and state agencies, we will come down to meet local community leaders to get feedback on the people's concerns and identify small projects that can be implemented immediately for their benefit," he told reporters after attending the 'Cakna Rakyat' programme in Kuala Terengganu, first of the series, here today.
More than 2,000 visitors attended the 'Cakna Rakyat' programme, held from 8am to 12.30pm, that saw the participation of various government departments and agencies such as Kuala Terengganu City Council, Kuala Terengganu District and Land Office, Inland Revenue Board, Public Works Department, Telekom, Tenaga Nasional Berhad and New Terengganu Transformation (TTB) unit.
Ahmad Razif said the state government would continue to improve the 'Cakna Rakyat' programme from time to time so that it would become the best platform to bring leaders and the people together. — Bernama
