Edaran clinches RM149.97 million Customs information system job

    PETALING JAYA: Edaran Bhd's wholly owned subsidiary Edaran IT Services Sdn Bhd has been awarded a RM149.97 million contract from the Royal Malaysian Customs Department for the enhancement of its information system.
    It told Bursa Malaysia that the contract is for a period of 24 months, commencing September 1, 2017 and will expire on August 31, 2019.
    Edaran said the contract has a significant effect on its earnings per share (EPS) for the financial year ending June 30, 2018 with an expected 16 sen rise in EPS.
    Edaran IT is a full-fledged IT services and solutions provider company, providing end-to-end IT systems solutions that include the provisioning, installation, commissioning, integration and maintenance of IT systems and related services. It has been in operation since 1988.
    Edaran's share price rose 1.5 sen or 7.1% to 22.5 sen today, with some 15,000 shares changing hands.
