Jailani Johari heads list of 100 Pahang award recipients

PEKAN: Deputy Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Jailani Johari topped the list of 100 recipients of Pahang State Awards in conjunction with the Sultan of Pahang Sultan Ahmad Shah's birthday celebration at Istana Abu Bakar here, today.
Jailani was one of 28 who received the Darjah Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP) carrying the title 'Datuk Seri', at the ceremony presided over by Pahang Regent Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah.
Also present at the ceremony were the Tengku Muda of Pahang Tengku Abdul Rahman Sultan Ahmad Shah, Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob, State Secretary Datuk Seri Muhammad Safian Ismail and the state government leadership.
Among the other SSAP recipients were Pahang Syarie Chief Justice Datuk Abdul Rahman Md Yunos, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Secretary-General Datuk Ramlan Ibrahim, singer Datuk Siti Nurhaliza Taruddin, Macxen Sdn Bhd director Datin Seri Eu Guat Yen, Ministry of Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Secretary-General Datuk Mohammad Mentek.
Fire and Rescue Department Director-General Datuk Wan Mohd Nor Ibrahim, Statistics Department Chief Statistician Dr Mohd Uzir Mahidin, Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) Director-General Datuk Zulkifli Abu Bakar, Federal Land Commissioner Datuk Dr Sallehuddin Ishak, Permanent Representative of Malaysia to the United Nations (UN) Datuk Muhammad Shahrul Ikram Yaakob.

Sultan Ahmad Shah also awarded the Darjah Sri Indera Mahkota Pahang (SIMP) which carries the title Datuk to THSB Services Sdn Bhd's Executive Director Datuk Mohd Azwan Abdul Malik.
A total of 13 individuals were awarded the Darjah Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (DSAP) which also carries the title of Datuk, namely Felda Director-General Ab Ghani Mohd Ali, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Academic Leadership Centre Senior Director Prof Dr Ahmad Nazri Muhamad Ludin, Air Force Region 1 Chief Maj Gen Datuk Mohd Faudzi Ahmad, RMAF Inspector-General Maj Gen Johar Razali Ahmad.
Other recipients were Pahang Special Branch Chief, DCP Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain, Kedah Police Deputy Chief, DCP Sahabudin Abd Manan, Malaysian Income Tax Special Commission Chairman Mohd Radzi Harun, KLCC Projeks Sdn Bhd Executive Director Ir Hashimah Hashim, Jovian Mandagie Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Director Jovian Mandagie and The Flava Lab Sdn Bhd Director-General Mohd Marhaban Mohamed Nor.
Sultan Ahmad Shah also awarded the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) which carries the title of Datuk to 59 recipients, among them Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Law Affairs Division in the Prime Minister's Department Director-General Shahruddin Abu Sohot, Co-operative College of Malaysia Director-General Assoc Prof Dr Abdul Rahman Abdul Razak Shaik, Pahang Mineral and Geoscience Department Director Ir Azman Ab Majid, Peace Security Services (M) Sdn Bhd Director A. Robert Stephenson.
