Pantheon to promote Malaysia as gaming hub

PETALING JAYA: The Pantheon, Malaysia's first platinum NVIDIA GeForce-certified game centre, could be a platform to promote the country as a regional electronic (e-)sports and gaming hub.
Managing director of operation, Inno Ignition Sdn Bhd, Franky How, said the Pantheon would not only elevate Malaysia in the e-sports arena through its top-notch facilities, but hoped it would enable the country to harness the talents of its world-class gamers.
"We are proud to be the first Platinum NVDIA-certified centre that is e-sports-ready in Malaysia.
"With the launch of the Pantheon, we hope to provide only top-of-the-line experience for gamers in Malaysia with our cutting-edge equipment and yet still maintain at an affordable price, so that more gamers would be able to enjoy our wide array of offerings," he said at the launch of the Pantheon here today.
The 10,000-square feet Pantheon, is dedicated for gamers to enjoy gaming experience with over 30 top gaming equipment or components from notable brands such as NVIDIA, Alienware, Legion, MSI, Omen, Predator, Republic of Gamers, among others.
The Pantheon, since its soft launch on September 2017, has hosted numerous notable gaming tournaments such as TML Qualifier Championed by Celcom and NVIDIA GEXT Qualifier.
In an effort to bring a more positive image to gaming, the operator said, the Pantheon was strictly open to patrons aged 12 and above only.
"Teenagers and students aged 12 and below are only allowed in the premise until 10pm with parental guidance," it said.
Meanwhile, students with school uniform were strictly prohibited from entering the premise, it said. — Bernama
