Tawau deports 156 Indonesian illegal immigrants to Nunukan

TAWAU: The Malaysian Immigration office here today deported 156 Indonesian illegal immigrants via the Tawau Port to Nunukan in Indonesia.
They comprised 119 men, 31 women and six children, including two girls, with the youngest aged three-days old and the oldest, 61 years.
The illegal immigrants were deported after completing their jail sentence at the Tawau prison for various offences committed in Lahad Datu, Semporna, Tawau and Kunak, said Noraini Rasi, who heads the Tawau Immigration office in a statement here today. — Bernama
