TRIplc shares fall after issuing RM639m senior sukuk murabahah

    PETALING JAYA: Shares of TRIplc Bhd fell 1.46% this morning, after its unit TRIplc Medical Sdn Bhd (TMSB) issued a RM639 million in nominal value of AA1 rated senior sukuk murabahah.
    At 10.30am, the stock stood at RM2.03 with 82,300 shares changing hands. It has a market capitalisation of RM139.5 million.
    TMSB also made the first issuance of RM27 million in nominal value of an unrated junior sukuk murabahah.
    TRIplc said the proceeds raised from both issuances will be used to part finance the financing and construction costs of the Teaching Hospital and Medical Academic Centre in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Puncak Alam Campus.
