Two killed in four-vehicle crash in Nilai

SEREMBAN: Two people were killed and three others were injured in an accident involving a trailer lorry and three cars at Km270.3 of the North-South Expressway (south bound) near the Seremban Rest & Recreation Area at 5pm today.
The who were killed were both in their 60s, and their identity is yet to be ascertained.
He said the injured victims were the drivers of the two other cars and a passenger.
All the victims were sent to the Tuanku Ja'afar Hospital.
Ahmad Ridwan said the accident was believed to have occurred when a tyre of the north-bound trailer burst, causing the lorry to skid and crash into the road divider before ramming into the three cars heading south.
He said the crash caused a traffic congestion for about 19km on the south-bound lane and two km on the north bound lane. — Bernama
