Foodstall operator jailed five days, fined for break-in, theft

KUALA LUMPUR: A foodstall operator was sentenced to five days' jail and fined RM1,500, in default four months' imprisonment by the magistrate court here today, for breaking into a house and stealing money.
Muhamad Zulfikar Mohd Nor, 23, pleaded guilty.
Magistrate Maizatul Munirah Abd Rahman meted out the punishment on the operator
for committing the offence at a house in Taman Sri Sentosa, Brickfields, and stealing RM1,000 belonging to Nurul Adzlin Ahmad, 25, at 5.30am on Oct 26.
Muhamad Zulfikar was ordered to serve the jail sentence from the date of arrest on Oct 30. — Bernama
