'Pesan Dari Tuhan' wins Best Drama award in Anugerah Skrin 2017

KUALA LUMPUR: 'Pesan Dari Tuhan' has been honoured as Best Drama while its director, Erma Fatima was named Best Drama Director in Anugerah Skrin 2017 (ASK2017) tonight.
The drama produced by Rumah Karya Citra Sdn Bhd beat 17 other dramas for the award.
The ceremony aired over Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) also crowned Erma as Best Actress and Remy Ishak as Best Supporting Actor.
In this regard, the film, 'Hanyut' directed by U Wei Haji Saari bagged the Best Film award as well as three other awards namely, Best Screenplay, Best Film Supporting Actor (Khalid Salleh), and Best Film Supporting Actress (Diana Danielle).
Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak and wife, Datin Seri Raya Erom were the guests of honour. Also present was Media Prima chairman Tan Sri Ismee Ismail.
A total of 33 awards were contested at ASK2017 which was broadcast live from Dewan Merdeka, Putra World Trade Centre. — Bernama
