Smart: Road closure in KL for upgrading

KUALA LUMPUR: The closure of several roads in the federal capital from Oct 6 until January next year is for upgrading works in Jalan Tun Razak, said Syarikat Mengurus Air Banjir & Terowong Sdn Bhd (Smart).
In a statement here today, Smart said the road closure by Gadang CRFG Consortium Sdn Bhd involved Jalan Tun Razak, road exit to Kampung Pandan Roundabout and Jalan Davis.
"The closure is for upgrading works to improve traffic flow in the city at Jalan Tun Razak from Jalan Langgak Golf to Kampung Pandan Roundabout and Tun Razak Exchange (TRX)," said Smart.
Hence Smart advised highway commuters to use other alternative roads to the city centre more quickly and comfortably.
"Highway commuters from the direction of Seremban-Cheras-Sg.Besi heading to Kuala Lumpur city centre such as Jalan Tun Razak-KLCC, Bukit Bintang can use the Smart Highway to reach their destination more smoothly.
Meanwhile commuters intending to exit from Kuala Lumpur city centre can use the Smart Highway to avoid traffic congestion at Jalan Davis and Bukit Bintang.
