Tasek Corp's share price fall 0.32% as Q3 earnings plunge

PETALING JAYA: Tasek Corp Bhd, whose third quarter earnings fell on lower cement demand, saw its share price fall 0.32% this morning.
At 11.09am, its share price was 0.32% or 4 sen lower at RM12.58 with a total of 4,800 shares traded.
Yesterday, the group told Bursa Malaysia that its net profit for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2017 slumped 75% to RM1.89 million from RM7.56 million a year ago due to lower demand for cement in the domestic market and lower average net pricing for both cement and ready-mixed concrete.
Revenue for the quarter fell 1.7% to RM146.55 million from RM149.13 million a year ago.
