Sapura Energy shares down on Mokhzani's exit

PETALING JAYA: Sapura Energy Bhd’s shares fell 0.69% this morning on news of Tan Sri Mokhzani Mahathir’s exit from the oil and gas firm.
At 11.23am, its share price fell 0.69% or 1 sen to RM1.45 with a total of 2.39 million shares traded. The stock fell 1.35% or 2 sen to close at RM1.46 yesterday with a total of 9.22 million shares traded.
Mokhzani, who has been progressively paring down his stake in the group over the years, sold 384.97 million shares on Tuesday.
A filing with Bursa Malaysia showed that the ordinary shares of RM1 each were held by Khasera Baru Ltd.
