JOHOR BARU: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) is prepared to be investigated by the Registrar of Societies (RoS) concerning various issues among them on the use of the term 'Armada' which stands for Angkatan Bersatu Anak Muda.
Its secretary-general Datuk Dr Shahruddin Md Salleh, when met by the media here today, said that he was recently contacted by RoS and asked to give a statement next Tuesday.
We will cooperate with the authorities and explain matters which had been raised by the members," he said after chairing a PPBM state-level monthly meeting at the Johor Baru PPBM division office here.
He was commenting on the party's recent internal crisis which included RoS warning for using 'Armada' as the abbreviation for its youth wing which was not found in PPBM's constitution.
In addition, some members had also complained to RoS that several Armada members were fired and others had questioned the management's status as the party has yet to call for an annual general meeting.
Shahruddin added that PPBM would not prevent any of its members from making complaints as it was their rights. – Bernama
