SINGAPORE: The public should plan their journey if travelling via Woodlands Checkpoint on Wednesday (tomorrow), between midnight and 2am, the Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) advised today.
In a statement here, the ICA said it was aware that the Malaysian authorities would be conducting an emergency evacuation exercise at Bangunan Sultan Iskandar (BSI) Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) Complex during this period.
"As such, the BSI CIQ Complex will be temporarily closed until the exercise concludes," it said.
ICA noted that travellers who urgently needed to travel using the land checkpoints "may wish to consider using Tuas Checkpoint instead." — Bernama
