Police deny shooting incident at shopping centre in city

KUALA LUMPUR: Police have denied news that there was a shooting incident at a shopping centre in the federal capital, that has gone viral on social media today.
Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun said police did not receive any report on the shooting incident.
"I have contacted the Kuala Lumpur police chief (Datuk Mazlan Lazim) and he said there was no such incident," he said when contacted by Bernama.
In this regard, Astro Awani on its Twitter account denied that it had put out a news report on the shooting incident involving the special officer of the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department at the Pavilion, which went viral on social media. — Bernama
