Cuckoo says cheers to drinking healthier alkaline water

WATER plays an important role in our lives, yet most of us are unlikely to think twice about this building block of life, or know that not all water is the same.
Home appliance expert Cuckoo Malaysia intends to show Malaysians that there is a difference with its new Iris Top Mild-Alkaline water purifier.
Alkaline water has a higher pH value than a normal glass of water. This has long been touted as a natural way to decrease acidity in the body, usually from eating foods like meat and dairy, keeping your cells in tip-top condition.
And Malaysians are beginning to realise the benefits of drinking alkaline water as Cuckoo's early bird pre-order campaign saw 3,000 units of the new Iris Top Mild-Alkaline water purifier sold in a matter of 10 days prior to its launch.
The launch of the Iris Top water purifier was held in tandem with Cuckoo Malaysia's third-anniversary celebration at Sunway Pyramid recently.
Present at the event were Cuckoo Malaysia CEO K.C Hoe, operations director Benny Tan, marketing director Queenie Goh, as well as Cuckoo Indonesia chief executive officer Toh Seng Lee.
Also at the event were Cuckoo Friends, homegrown power-couple actors Diana Danielle and Farid Kamil, as well as national badminton player Chan Peng Soon and his wife, Cham May May.
The new Iris Top Mild-Alkaline water purifier, priced at RM3,999, emphasises not only on quantity but also the quality of the water we drink.
This top-of-the-line water purifier was rolled out with the latest Cuckoo Good Plan, comprising eight different price points and corresponding with flexible repayment periods.
For a repayment term of 84 months, customers will be able to enjoy the healthy alkaline water for just RM75 a month; a 60-month term for RM100 a month; a 30-month term for RM160 a month; or an 18-month term for RM200 monthly fee, with four other plans to choose from.
Customers will also get to enjoy two years of free servicing and filter replacements, as well as a warranty period of up to seven years, as part of the Good Plan.
Additionally, those who pay the full retail price upfront for the Iris Top Mild-Alkaline water purifier (RM3,999) will get a complimentary South Korean-made Cuckoo 1010 multi-cooker worth RM1,010.
