Only 54 flood evacuees in Kedah

ALOR STAR: The number of flood evacuees in Kedah as of 8am today is down to 54 people from the 212 people last night.
Kubang Pasu District Civil Defence Force officer, Capt Kamalruzamal Kasa said there were only two relief centres with 14 families compared to 64 families previously.
In mukim Jitra, there were 24 evacuees at the relief centre of Dewan Tokong Cina while Dewan Kubur Siam which had 158 flood evacuees was closed at 9pm after all the victims were allowed to go home.
