Salesman charged with threatening ex-girlfriend

PETALING JAYA: A salesman claimed trial in the Magistrate's Court here today to criminal intimidation against an ex-girlfriend.
R. Logeswaran, 32, allegedly threatened to harm K. Punnagai, 29, at a condominuim in Jalan SS 6/2 here at 1.14am on Nov 5.
The charge under Section 506 of the Penal Code carries a maximum seven years imprisonment or a fine or both, on conviction.
Magistrate Zaki Asyraf Zubir set RM2,500 as bail with one surety, and Dec 27 for remention.
Deputy public prosecutor Fazeedah Faik appeared for the prosecution while counsel Datuk Suraj Singh represented the accused. — Bernama
