Second suspect remanded over fertiliser corruption case

MALACCA: A second suspect has been remanded for seven days from today to assist in the investigation into a corruption case involving RM2.54 million worth of fertiliser.
Magistrate Hurman Hussain issued the remand order against the 46-year-old suspect who was brought to the Ayer Keroh Court Complex handcuffed and in the orange lockup attire of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.
Yesterday, the first suspect, a project manager of the Malacca Area Farmers Organisation, was remanded for six days in connection with the case. — Bernama
