AS the year draws to a close, Starbucks Malaysia welcomes one and all to celebrate festive giving through its Give Good Holiday Campaign. The campaign is a tradition that has long been celebrated at Starbucks, where customers eagerly await the “unveiling” of its Holiday Cups.
This year, there is only one design, but one which carries weight and bears meaning. The Give Good Holiday Cup features purposefully-crafted adorable-looking doodles. The casual yet artful conception celebrates good in all forms – from connecting over a cup of coffee, to writing a note in holiday cards, even giving thoughtful gifts or just celebrating the season being with loved ones.
OLD AND NEW FAVOURITES
No Holiday Cup is complete without its fill; and not just any fill but Starbucks’ special holiday handcrafted beverages. This year’s line-up includes:
▶ Starbucks Toffee Nut Crunch Latte – A returning favourite that contains velvety-smooth steamed milk, espresso shots and a slightly sweeter toffee nut syrup which make up the latte, topped with whipped cream and crunchy toffee nut crunch offering a subtle, caramel-sweet and nutty-to-boot desirable latte beverage.
▶ Starbucks Peppermint Dark Mocha – Peppermint has made appearances in the holiday line-up over the years, but this version has an interesting spin to it. Green tea whipped cream sits atop a dark mocha and peppermint drink, like an evergreen Christmas tree. This, topped with glittering green and red candy, offer a fabulous tasting beverage, one that bears significance of the festive Christmas tree.
▶ Starbucks Teavana Apple Black Tea – Unlike its creamy companions, this Starbucks’ creation comprises bold black tea combined with apple juice that offers a refreshing pick-me-up on warm days. Make sure to top it with cinnamon spice for an extra punch to the pique tastebuds and get you going.
Whether sipping on something sweet or spiced, pair your holiday drink with some light bites from the Starbucks Holiday Food menu:
▶ Cinnamon Pumpkin Roll – The classic cinnamon roll is given a healthy twist at Starbucks, infusing pumpkin into its bread roll and paste; topped with pumpkin cream and seeds that will get pumpkin fans and nutritious eaters sated and satisfied. Take it up a notch and lock in a perfect day by enjoying this with a cup of the seasonal special Starbucks Holiday Blend.
▶ Cranberry Chia Seed Focaccia Twist – It’s all about a roll, twist, turn and twine and Starbucks brings you a confectionery twist of cranberry focaccia mixed with nuts and seeds, another bite that the hale and hearty will be more than pleased to indulge in. Pair it with a cup of Starbucks Kenya Blend and wallah! – you’ve appeased tummy and tastebuds.
While enjoying the latest drinks and bites from Starbucks this holiday season, make sure your purchases are accounted for in your Starbucks Card. Then check with counter staff if your tally allows you to redeem the Starbucks Planner 2018.
