English schools will work in urban areas

I WANT to draw attention to the need for English-medium schools in Johor.
The strong support for the introduction of public English-medium schools is mainly due to the public's awareness of the success of Singapore's education system. Singapore produces graduates who are competent in English, which makes them internationally employable.
The Sultan of Johor said in an interview that something needs to be done to stop the decline in the use of English. I believe that bringing back English-medium schools (in urban areas where there is a demand) would be beneficial.
The use of English as the primary medium of instruction is important in countries such as Malaysia, where English is not the mother-tongue of most students.
Surveys have found that 18% of people in Johor disagree with the idea of such schools. I think that opposing the proposal to bring back English-medium schools in selected areas is backward thinking and closed-minded.
The introduction of public English-medium schools in Johor is highly-recommended as it would advance the development of the state and bring about benefits and opportunities for all residents.
