DELL and Alienware recently introduced five new products under the computer maker's gaming portfolio.
The launch at The Row, Kuala Lumpur, saw the unveiling of the new Inspiron 15 7000 gaming laptop and Alienware Aurora desktop with Intel's 8th Gen six-core processor, alongside Alienware-branded high-performance gaming monitors and accessories.
The Inspiron 15 7000 gaming laptop has a 7th Gen Intel quad-core CPU, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card with Nvidia Max Q Design, which translates to a more portable gaming laptop.
A 15in anti-glare IPS full high-definition display that offers a wide-viewing angle, Waves MaxxAudio Pro which provides enhanced audio, and a 2x2 WiFi antenna that delivers an optimised wireless connection when used with a compatible router – all add to the laptop's impressive features list.
To top it all off, the Inspiron 15 7000 gaming laptop is equipped with a quick-charge battery that could be charged up to 80% within an hour, and a Thunderbolt 3 Multi-use port for connecting additional devices such as displays.
From Alienware comes the Aurora, which features Intel's 8th Gen six-core CPU, dual-graphic card option, and customisable AlienFX lighting.
For the mechanically-inclined who are keen tinkerers, Alienware has also designed the device to provide tool-less access to the desktop's insides, all in a mid-tower desktop format.
The Aurora is also virtual reality (VR) ready, for a more intense gaming experience.
For those looking for an equally-powerful display, Alienware introduces two gaming monitors – the Alienware 34in curved gaming monitor, and the Alienware 25in.
Both monitors come in two different variations.
The 34in curved monitor comes in either 3440x1440 resolution, or 2560x180 resolution, both with Nvidia G-Sync technology.
The Alienware 25in is powered by either Nvidia's G-Sync technology, or AMD's FreeSync technology.
Both displays also feature a 240Hz refresh rate, and have a 1920x1080 resolution.
Meanwhile, two new gaming keyboards and gaming mice were also introduced by Alienware.
The two keyboards are the Alienware Pro Gaming Keyboard and the Alienware Advanced Gaming Keyboard.
The former features keyboard shortcuts, a dedicated volume roller, and a 13 zone-based RGB Alien FX backlight, while the latter has mechanical brown switches for better tactile feedback and faster reaction times, five specialised macro commands, and a software suite.
As for the two gaming mice, the Alienware Elite Gaming Mouse features 13 programmable buttons, while the Alienware Advanced Gaming Mouse has variable sensitivity and nine unique fully-customisable buttons.
All these products are currently available at the Dell online store.
