Mother of two jumps from 13th floor of apartment building

JOHOR BARU: A woman died after jumping from the 13th floor of an apartment building in Mutiara Rini on Thursday evening.
Iskandar Putri police chief ACP Noor Hashim Mohamad said the initial investigation showed that at 5.15pm on Nov30, Shirley Hii Shiun Siew, 37, from Mutiara Rini, Skudai was seen entering a lobby of one of the apartment building in Mutiara Rini, she took a lift to 13th floor.
Fifteen minutes later, she was found lying on the ground of the apartment.
She leaves behind a husband, a six-year-old girl and a three-year-old boy.
According to her husband, the victim had complained about pressure at work. She was unable to focus on work and the family recently.
It is learnt that the victim had consulted a psychiatrist on Nov 27.
Police said the case has been classified as sudden death.
