Flood victims receive aid from Rantau Panjang Umno

RANTAU PANJANG: More than 6,000 flood victims here have received aid from Rantau Panjang Umno.
Umno Rantau Panjang Division head Datuk Abdullah Mat Yassin said the party provided assistance to all affected residents regardless of political differences.
"When we help people in need, we don't look at what party they support, we just assist," he told Bernama after distributing 200 bags of essential items to flood victims at the evacuation centre at Madrasah Dia'uddin, Lubok Setol here yesterday.
The party depended on Fire and Rescue Department vehicles, the Smart team and Rela to reach the centre located about 15km and an hour's drive from Rantau Panjang town. — Bernama
