Anwar undergoing intensive physiotherapy at Cheras Rehabilitation Centre

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is currently receiving post-operation treatment at the Cheras Rehabilitation Centre at Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM).
"He is currently undergoing further treatment via intensive physiotherapy.
"Although he is in a lot of pain, he's still in good spirits.
"He can't move his arm," PKR director of communications Fahmi Fadzil told theSun today.
He said that Anwar was transferred to the facility on Nov 28 following a surgery on his right shoulder was successfully carried out at Hospital Kuala Lumpur on Nov 12.
"We are not certain how long he'll be there. We will send a weekly update on his condition," Fahmi added.
Recently, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi reportedly said that he would speak to the respective departments for Anwar to receive the necessary treatment for as long as required.
Anwar had undergone an arthroscopy which is an invasive surgical procedure on a joint to examine and sometimes treat damage, performed using an arthroscope.
