Factory worker jailed four months for stealing action figures

PETALING JAYA: A factory worker who pleaded guilty to stealing six action figures worth more than RM1,000 was jailed four months by the Magistrate's Court here today.
Muhamad Firdaus Abdullah, 24, entered the plea after the charge was read out to him before Magistrate Salamiah Salleh.
The court ordered him to serve the sentence from the date of arrest, on Sept 6.
According to the charge, the accused stole the six dolls, including a collection of "Star Wars" action figures like Sandtrooper, Shoretrooper and Yoda worth RM1,093.45 from a game shop at Empire Shopping Gallery, Jalan SS16/1, Subang Jaya, near here at 11.30am on Sept 6.
Deputy public prosecutor Mary Phoon Keat Mee prosecuted. Muhamad Firdaus was not represented. — Bernama
